Pregnancy is an exciting and wonderous time, but it is also a time of many changes for parents to be, both physically and emotionally. Because of this, it’s important for expectant parents to find ways to relax and take care of themselves during this special time.

Pregnancy relaxation classes offer a weekly sanctuary of calm for expectant mothers, providing them with a safe place to unwind and connect with their changing bodies and carve out some time for self care.

 

By learning to relax and let go of tension, and having a safe space to discuss any worries, expectant parents can alleviate common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain, anxiety and sleep difficulties, and begin to prepare for a positive birth experience.

Classes not only focus on the physical well-being of the mother but also on nurturing the bond between mother and baby. Through various relaxation exercises, such as visualisation and gentle touch, mothers are encouraged to connect with their unborn babies on a deeper level. This can foster a sense of calm, love, and connection, which can positively impact the baby's development and well-being as well as the parents.
